Well, hello friends!

Since you clicked on this page, I am guessing you would like to learn a little bit more about me. Well, my name is Hailey Russell and I am a full time student at Western Washington University. I am studying elementary education, so obviously, I have a passion for working with children. I have worked at various YMCA summer camps and have worked in local elementary school classrooms over the past year. I am going to begin my student teaching this fall in a low income school district, working with kiddos I (hopefully) can make an impact on.

With all this being said, some of the things I am most excited to do in the future, is become a teacher and be a momma one day. And yes, I have all my children’s names already picked out 😉

Along with loving working with children, another important thing about me is that I have a heart to travel. I love seeing the world and the beauty it holds. Experiencing different cultures, food, people; that is what gives me purpose and drive. After my time in Sri Lanka, I have the passion of serving people & children in other countries and giving them all the love and service I can.

I wanted to start this blog because…

  1. I really enjoy journaling, and I am better at typing than actually writing things down. So this will become somewhat like a digital journal for me and I am really excited about it!
  2. I want to hold memories in a safe place.
  3.  I really enjoy reading other people’s blogs!

I will be writing about different adventures and memories I think are worthy to remember & share, along with my daily thoughts on different topics!

This is a small insight into what I love and who I am. I hope you would follow my blog to see more about working with kids, relationships, and traveling! Thanks for visiting! ❤
