Seattle, WA

A few weeks ago, my friend and I decided to make a spontaneous trip to the big city! For us, Seattle is only about an hour and a half away, making it perfect for a day trip. We had a lot of fun exploring, walking around stores, and eating yummy food 🙂

The first place we went to was called, Arepa!

We decided to try something new, and we ended up here. The location is also really nice, since it is not in the crazy downtown area. We each got an arepa and the best mozzarella sticks we have ever had! They were so light & yummy. We would definitely come here again!

Then we went to Pike’s Place!

We then went downtown to Pike’s Place and walked around the market. While there, Warren surprised me with flowers by telling me he was going to find the bathroom. *laughing emoji* ❤

We ended up walking down to the boardwalk and went on the ferris wheel! We got to see a lot of the Puget Sound, but most of the buildings were taller than the wheel, not allowing us to see that much more. I would recommend doing the wheel once, but I don’t think I would go on it again!

Finally, we drove over to Bellevue to go to the cheesecake factory. We ordered a really yummy dinner (with huge portions!) and of course, cheesecake for dessert. I ordered the lemon meringue and Warren got the “Chris’ outrageous cheesecake”. However, we both decided that the lemon one was the best!

Overall, it was a day well spent 🙂 Seattle is great to visit, but I will enjoy my time in Bellingham without the crazy traffic & crowds.

Happy Monday! ❤

shein haul!

Hey everyone! I have recently been hearing a lot about the online store called “Shein”, and decided to check it out! This store has cute, trendy pieces for really cheap prices. I was a little hesitant when ordering since I had heard that it was mostly hit or miss sometimes, but I am overall quite happy with everything I ordered! I decided to share what I got with ya’ll. So here it goes! 🙂

Why I Went on a Break

This is going to be an explanation of why my boyfriend and I took a step back from our relationship for a little while & why it was one of the best decisions we could have made.

Relationships can get very intense. This can be both a good and bad thing sometimes. For my boyfriend & I, it was both.

One Month Later

Since this has been a topic I have been talking about lately on my blog, I decided to do a little update to document my journey of healing.

It has been a little over one month since I got out of my relationship, and I have done a lot of growing & healing during that time.

A few days ago, I turned 21 (woooo) and I decided that I want to make a list of 10 things I want to do this year. This will be a mixture of more long term things, things that I have always wanted to do, & things that I just thought would be fun. So here goes my list 🙂

How To Heal

Let’s be real, life is hard sometimes. There are days where depression or anxiety will overrule our desire to be happy and we won’t want to get out of bed. People will disappoint you or hurt you, and maybe even to the point to where you think your heart is breaking. It seems unfair, but people are not perfect creations, and it will happen.

Life of a Camp Counselor

This summer, I am working at my local YMCA as a summer day camp counselor. This means, I am working with 1st & 2nd graders, 5 days a week, planning fun activities and exploring the places around us. I love my job, the kids, and my coworkers.

Learning to Love Myself

One of my all time favorite quotes.

Something I have been struggling with the past few weeks is something a lot people struggle with as well: body image.

I am 20 years old now, and my metabolism has definitely slowed down. I am the biggest I have ever been in my life, and it’s been a hard process for me to go through.

Europe Trip!

E U R O P E    T R I P :

Ever since I was about 10, I have loved Europe. I dreamed of visiting Paris & the Eiffel Tower and someday living in England. I have no idea why these dreams popped into my young mind, but they have stuck with me throughout my life. The summer that I graduated high school, I actually got the opportunity to travel to three different countries with my good friend, Mikylla.

Ironically enough, the day my blog post called “meet my boyfriend” went up, my boyfriend became my fiancé!

On July 28th, my Warren asked me to be his forever. We went to dinner at a local Thai restaurant, then walked over to the boardwalk. He asked me to marry him and of course, I said yes! This was our view:
